AEDM – Day 5 – Images

For Art Every Day Month – Day 5 offering.

At least for this week, I’m posting photographs that have been altered in some manner (I don’t use Photoshop). Next week might be a different art form.  All the photos on my blog are taken by me with my iPhone.  So, in continuance of my AEDM post on Day 3 in which I mentioned photos I’d taken at Shaver Lake, California – here are two photos of the feather I brought home from the lake.  While I haven’t really altered the photos, I did re-photograph the items from the lake and will be working on a  collection of photos. We’ll see how that goes. In the interest of diversity and not re-creating the same thing every day, I’m posting them here.  Enjoy.

– Excerpt from The Dancing Cry Of The Soul –

“I leap across the mountaintops, madly singing the song of all songs
I float through the ether, intoxicated, thrilled
I think only of your love, your calling to me
And I dance the thousand dances of love, all returning to you….” – Rumi

until tomorrow…..

  1. No Photoshop. White watercolor (course) paper, the feather, my iPhone under fluorescent lighting in a bright kitchen. I just cropped closely and sharpened them. A friend commented on the blue. I didn’t add the blue. I believe this is what happens with white highlights when bringing the light “up” a bit. Happy you like them.

I just bought the Photoshop CC (creative cloud) download two days ago. Let’s see how long it takes for me to figure that one out.
