AEDM – Day 7 – Images

For Art Every Day Month – Day 7 offering.

Briefly, I have an out-of-town guest the remainder of the week.  Therefore, my creative time is limited.  Time with special friends is so much more important than just about anything else, in my mind.  We drove to Avila Beach today for lunch and some downtime.  I’ve made a few very slight alterations to the photo you see here. The light however was there, as is, no alteration was needed or wanted.  It was present in the original digital photo.  The light just seemed to want to pop up out of the ocean to chat with us.  I also picked up two rocks which I will clean and photograph end of week.  Tomorrow we plan to go to Sequoia National Park.  Ah, those huge magnificent trees…… and then my altered photos will probably take a rest to enable the other projects to enjoy the limelight….there are three more weeks in this creative month…so many ideas.

reminds me that I have sunrise pictures from OBX – at one point the reflection looks like gold…thanks…I think that’s a good post for today (or yesterday as I missed a day)

    1. Thanks! I read some article about how people post sunrise/sunset/cloud formation photos on Facebook and it is annoying because there is just nothing new in them. And I thought……………..the day we begin being bored with what happens in the sky and on the earth, is the day we should just pack it in and leave the planet. I am amazed at every single thing. Perhaps that’s what makes you and me – and the rest of the bloggers we follow – true artists. Just standing still and looking around shows us a million different universes. It’s a matter of being willing to “see”. Let’s both continue posting sky, earth, and sea photos.
